She also mentors’ writers of all ages worldwide and has experience in speaking and offering presentations across a variety of subjects.
Ann is a member of the Soc of Authors in the UK & Australia, Soc of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators & The Assoc of Freelance Journalists. She is an official judge for BBC Radio-2 500 Words Children’s Competition and The Page Turners Awards. She has also received Golden Globe Web Awards for her work in website content.
Ann began her writing career as a Newsletter creator and content provider before developing website contents and other non-fiction writing which placed some of her work in major Educational Tutorials. She took fictional writing some 12/13 years ago when she launched her first historical novel for which she won a Silver Award. Her writing quickly developed into other genres including the creation of a series of 18 Children's Picture Books titled The Little Friends Adventures.
With her vast experience, Ann has developed a Mentoring programme which is aimed at helping new and developing writers learn and understand the world of writing. She mentors all ages of writer, worldwide and under her banner Kids4Kids.org.uk she has published five of the younger writers she has mentored. Once the current lockdown situation has settled Ann will be publishing the next two younger writers books and is actively looking for her next mentees aged under 18 to work with.
