30 Minute Program

Camilla Chester mostly writes stories for 8-12s and is based just north of London in the UK.

Camilla has three books; a scary one (Jarred Dreams) about a ghoul who steals children’s dreams; a ridiculous one (EATS) about celebrity chefs; and a mystery one (Thirteenth Wish) about an out of this world, time-slip adventure. There are a few more books hopefully on the way too.

She writes on commission for Serial Mash - a UK based online school resource, and was the main author with the Catching Words Project with Discover Children's Stories Centre in East London.

By far the best part of being a Children's Author, for Camilla, is having the opportunity to meet readers and that's why Talkabook Programs are so special, because now she can meet people from all over the world and find out about their stories too.

When Camilla isn't writing, she is usually out walking dogs as that's her other job. She's a huge animal lover and also regularly enjoys going horse riding, oh and eating yummy food too - like chocolate and pancakes, or even chocolate pancakes. Mmmmm.

The best way to find out more about Camilla is to book a Talkabook programme with her, but if you want a little more first why not take a look at her website: www.camillachester.com
