Christy Mihaly's recent picture books include Free for You and Me, which introduces readers to our First Amendment through poems and stories, and Hey, Hey, Hay! (a Bank Street Best Book of the Year), about making hay. She co-authored Diet for a Changing Climate (2018) about how our diet affects the earth. She also writes poems, many of which have been published in magazines and anthologies. A former lawyer, Christy has written 20+ nonfiction titles. She lives in Vermont, where she enjoys walking her dog in the woods and playing cello (though not simultaneously).
