Kelly Milner Halls has spent the past 25 years writing high interest (weird) nonfiction for young readers. Her most famous book is TALES OF THE CRYPTIDS, an exploration of evidence on dozens of animal sightings that may or may not be real. She's also written about animals (including animal heroes), Sasquatch, cryptozoology, ghosts, mummies, UFOs and World War II. She loves helping kids recognize their special spark, and insists being weird is the best! Kelly continues to expand her explorations and her booklist, with new books about the Titanic and Washington State's only dinosaur fossil, tardigrades and poop on the near horizon.
