Tracy Dockray, illustrator of Fran Manushkin’s hilarious “Tushy Book, will read, draw and guarantee young listeners a rhyming, dancing, drawing good time.
30 Minute Program
As well as creating books for young children, Tracy Dockray has been a young children’s librarian conducting successful read-aloud and circle times in New York City. As well as a reading, young listeners will get to shake their booties to the perfect stomp-along-songs, supply the right rhyming word as the read-aloud moves along, participate in guessing “Whose Tail Is It” as she draws a tail before completing the rest of an animal. To finish off the fun, Tracy will teach listeners how to draw two simple animals and their tails and hopefully inspire them to create some of their own.
