Have you ever gazed into the night sky and wondered what you were seeing? Perhaps you spotted a meteor, Moon halo, or auroras lighting the horizon. Maybe you saw a group of stars that looked like a picture and wanted to know more.

Ancient cultures and early peoples wondered about outer space, too. They made up stories to explain the mysteries they saw—from constellations and planets, to auroras and the Moon. Their tales describe heroes, monsters, and wild animals.

Sky science is as compelling as sky stories, so expect to unearth irresistible astronomy facts. You might wonder how stars form or how to spot a meteor shower. Or, you might wonder what happens when stars explode and black holes form. We can talk about that too.

Dot to Dot in the Sky offers science and storytelling that fits well with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) and STEM goals. It is also a whole lot of fun!
