Food for Thought
What we eat affects not only our bodies, but the whole world. "Diet for a Changing Climate: Food for Thought" explores how, by changing our diets, we can help our Earth. What's on the menu? How about a tasty weed, invasive species, or a well-prepared insect?
30 Minute Program
It's easy to feel discouraged and powerless about the state of the world. My co-author Sue Heavenrich and I wrote this book to explore new ideas for making a difference by changing what's on our plates. People are adding crickets to their cookies, enjoying invasive seafood dinners, and putting weeds in their pancakes. Why? Because these dishes are tasty and nutritious, and eating this way can help Planet Earth. If you're curious about why more and more people are raising crickets for protein, what other insects are edible, and how else we can creatively change what we eat -- for the good of the globe -- let's talk!
