Get the Scoop!

Want the scoop? Beth will dish on what life is like as an author, including peeks at her writing space, writing and revision processes, and what she's working on now. This question and answer presentation will focus on readers’ publishing and writing questions and inspire them to tackle stories of their own.

Beth Vrabel

30 Minute Program

$100

This interactive, fun workshop showcases Beth's personal formula for connecting with stories that matter, including knowing when it's time to face that blank white page. In addition to answering all of attendees' questions about writing and publishing, she'll have targeted questions of her own. This will be aimed at helping them fully realize their own characters--from what those characters look, smell and sound like, to what they carry in their pockets, and especially what secrets they keep in their hearts. Beth and attendees will work together to create an original poem, capturing young writers' unique voices.

About the Author

Beth Vrabel won a story contest in fourth grade and promptly decided writing was what she was going to do with her life. (To tell you the truth, she got fourth place.) Twenty-five years later, she had her first book signing at that same library. Beth is author of Cybils'-nominated Caleb and Kit, ILA award-winning A Blind Guide to Stinkville, the Pack of Dorks and The Newspaper Club series. To Tell You the Truth releases in June 2021. When she’s not visiting schools to talk about storytelling, Beth’s in New England with her family, two over-Instagrammed dogs and six chickens.
