Ideas are Everywhere: Creating a Writer's Notebook
Have you ever wondered where an author gets their ideas from? In this program, I'll let you in on a little secret... Ideas are everywhere! Bring a blank notebook and we will create a Writer's Notebook to capture them in.
In this program, Laura will:
- Share her own Writer's Notebooks and connect them to her picture books
- Engage participants in a conversation about observation and ideas
- Guide participants as they design and create their own Writer's Notebooks
- Send participants off with a goal to turn one of the ideas they collected into a story
