Helen Keller (1880-1968) was deaf and blind but she became an influential writer and advocate. Let's learn about people - especially writers - who have found ways to overcome their disabilities to do great things.

About the Author

Carol L. Paur lives with her family in Wisconsin. Isasnora Snores is her first middle grade children’s book. It's about an infant who snores so loudly she shatters glass and throws people into fits of hysterical laughter. Paur's next book is the YA novel - Early Summer. It's set to be published November, 2022 by Orange Blossom Publishing. It's about a young woman struggling with anxiety who suspects that the new mayor is a serial killer. This book is certainly different from Isasnora Snores! Paur is a volunteer and member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and Wisconsin Writers’ Association. She has the YouTube podcast - Talking to Myself and puts out new shows once a month along with her blog. Paur is grateful for her family, friends, mentors, and supporters.
