We’re traveling to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, Africa to visit some of the park’s most well-known animals.

Do you know which African animal is the largest land mammal on the planet?
What do zebra and giraffe have in common?
How can you tell the difference between a cheetah and leopard?

Discussion-based experience using shared screen format, we’ll explore some of our favorite African animals and discover what makes each of them unique.

Prerequisite: Read BECAUSE OF KHALID, based on the real life safari adventure that inspired it all.
Optional: Gather furry friends aka stuffed animals to join in on the fun.

Carolyn Armstrong takes her love of fact finding and traveling the world to write stories that children can both learn from and relate to. A lover of all animals (except creepy crawlies and things that sting), Carolyn fosters an elephant in Kenya, Africa.
