Author/Illustrator will read from “Bright Dreams, The Brilliant Inventions Of Nikola Tesla” and talk about Tesla’s challenges and his difficult path to inventing the A/C Generator. She’ll explain and demonstrate how electricity is generated with spinning magnets and wire and show the difference between A/C and D/C electricity.

PDF sent to listeners before the program with do-it-yourself experiments to play with static electricity and learn about electric circuitry using batteries and simple materials.
